How to Create a Recovery Disk
1. Insert the SD card into your PC. (If using a reader, connect the reader to the PC.)
2. Launch the TOP Design Studio software.
3. Go to [Tools] – [Recovery Disk].
4. In the Recovery Disk Maker window, select the SD card drive and choose the series of your TOP product.
5. Click the [Start] button to create the recovery disk.

 

How to Recover (Initialize) the TOP Product Using the Recovery Disk
1. Insert the SD card (created as a recovery disk) into the SD card slot on the back of the TOP product.
2. Lower both DIP switch 1 and 2 located to the right of the SD card slot.
3. Reset the power of the TOP product (OFF → ON).
4. After a few seconds (about 5–10 seconds), if recovery proceeds normally, a gear image will appear on the screen along with an English message instructing not to turn off the power.
5. When you hear the beeping sound (“beep beep beep”) from the TOP product, it means the recovery is proceeding normally.
6. Remove the SD card, return DIP switches 1 and 2 to their original positions, and reset the TOP product.
7. Check that the TOP product boots up normally.
